# Changelog

> Changes to the Quoin Property API.

  * **No daily limits.** Only the per-minute and concurrency limits remain, and queries can run for up to about 18 seconds.
  * **v1, v2 and v3 are retired.** Their paths return `410 version_retired` with the current version. See [Versioning](/api-basics/versioning).
  * `https://portal.quoindata.com/api/openapi.json` always serves the current version's spec.
  * **New:** `search` filters one record kind across a jurisdiction on source fields, including owner names.
  * `jurisdiction` accepts only covered state and county codes.
  * `connected` no longer returns the starting entity; `find` returns results in a stable order.

  * **v4 released** with national coverage: Washington, D.C., Maryland and six Northern Virginia jurisdictions.

Changes are additive: new endpoints, optional parameters and response fields. Breaking changes ship as a new API version with notice.
