A state code covers every county in it. On find, a state code is faster than a county code.

Data comes from county and state publishers: tax offices, assessors, recorders, permit and licensing agencies. catalog lists every published source with its record kind and count. Narrow it with jurisdiction or source_id to see each source’s fields, their types, how often they are filled and an example value.

catalog.as_of is when the catalog was generated, not when the source was pulled. Use the dates in the table above. records counts every published version of every record.
